FAQs
What is grief?
Grief is the acute pain that accompanies loss. Because it is a reflection of what we love, it can feel all-encompassing. Grief is not limited to the loss of people, but when it follows the loss of a loved one, it may be compounded by feelings of guilt and confusion, especially if the relationship was a difficult one.(1)

Do you have any self care tips for grieving?
Here are a few tips our LLO family has found helpful in their grief journeys.

Exercise - go for a walk, hike, or a run
Take a deep breath - deep breathing helps clear your mind
Read - pick up a book about grief, self help or whatever you think might be relaxing for you
Get fresh air - go out and take in nature, your surroundings and get some sun
Cry it out - having a good cry never hurts, it actually activates the parasympathetic system and releases stress.
